Industry Veterans launch Pacific IOS Ventures to invest in Industrial Outdoor Storage properties near West Coast Ports and Logistical hubs.
Pacific IOS Ventures’ mission is to create a new IOS platform that will leverage off the 40-year track record of Co-Founder Andy Martin’s family business (Harbor Land Company) that started investing in older land sites in the early 1980s in the Los Angeles South Bay near the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Andy’s father, Nick Martin, was at the forefront of investing in IOS.
Pacific IOS Ventures LLC, headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area as a sister company to Harbor Land Company, will carry forward the investment strategy, targeting strategic assets near logistical hubs and ports in Southern CA, San Francisco Bay Area, Portland and Seattle. www.pacificios.com
Both Andy and Dave grew up in similar family businesses that invested in old, industrial properties, vacant buildings, old manufacturing plants, and landfills that were in desperate need of creative repositioning. “Big, ugly and cheap” was the motto, and today they are leveraging their combined experience to create a cutting edge, West Coast focused IOS platform.
“Pacific IOS Ventures is the culmination of my lifelong dream to expand my family business in a new stand-alone venture. And I am very excited to be partnering with former colleague Dave Breuner who also comes from a similar background and brings 30+ years of institutional real estate experience. ”
The team has an actionable pipeline of investment opportunities, and they welcome contact from institutional investors. They can be reached at andy@pacificios.com, or dave@pacificios.com.
